USS was established as a foundation first, driven by the vision of Ajay Kumar Singh and like-minded individuals who saw the deep gaps in healthcare access across rural Bihar, particularly in the Saran district.
Before there was a nursing home, there was a seva initiative — a small, honest effort to reach out to families in Chetan Parsa and surrounding villages who had little or no access to basic medical support. Through health camps, awareness drives and community outreach, the USS Foundation built trust and understanding of what the people truly needed. This ground-up approach shaped every decision that followed, ensuring that our services would always remain people-first, not profit-first.
Today, USS (Uphar Seva Sadan) Nursing Home Private Limited stands as a legally registered entity under the Companies Act (CIN: U87100BR2025PTC079698), but its soul remains that of a foundation. Long before the nursing home was established, the USS Foundation organized free health check-up camps in remote villages of Parsa, Shankar Dih and neighbouring areas, bringing basic diagnostics and medical guidance to hundreds of families who had never visited a doctor.
Our foundation has consistently worked on educating communities about hygiene, maternal health, nutrition and preventive care. Through local gatherings, printed materials and one-on-one counselling, we have empowered families to take charge of their own well-being.
